Lil Durk Backs Up ‘Hardest-Working Rapper Alive’ Claim With Tour Announcement & New Music Preview
The grind never stops for Lil Durk. With promises of his 7220 deluxe to fans, he’s been working hard putting the finishing touches on the expanded edition. Durkio took to Instagram earlier this week to preview another banger on the way and also announced The 7220 Deluxe Tour to give fans a chance to hear all the new music live.
Tickets are now on sale for the North American trek whick kicks off in Oklahoma City on September 17. Other stops on the schedule include Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and wraps up in Seattle on October 17. It’s unknown who will be opening up for the OTF boss on the tour.
The Chicago native posted a picture from the studio on his Instagram Story Wednesday night (June 1) claiming he’s the hardest-working rhymer in the game today.
“Ain’t no rapper outworking me I’m standing on that … The Voice,” he wrote.
Durk continued to post a snippet of an upcoing track from the studio, which had him going crazy with the camera.
“Why you be jumping in all them pictures you don’t even know them n-ggas, uh/Why you be posting all they music, you don’t even be posting they music, uh,” Smurk raps while puffing on a blunt.
Look for Durk to serve up the 7220 deluxe at some point this summer, after the OG version debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in March with 120,500 total album-equivalent units sold in the first week.
Durk’s latest verse arrived on Friday (June 3) with him blessing Real Boston Richey’s “Keep Dissing 2” with a guest appearance.
