Wack 100 Provides Hood Info Following Slim 400 Murder: ‘There’s A War Going On’
Los Angeles, CA – Slim 400 was shot and killed in Los Angeles on December 8 at the age of 33. While an arrest is yet to be made and a motive not yet revealed to the public, TMZ released video footage of the gruesome execution which happened in the driveway of an L.A. residence.
“[Slim 400] wasn’t supposed to be over there anyway. You know it’s a war going on over there. When you on a n-gga block, a n-gga gon’ come through. You know a war going on over there with the homies.”
Wack 100 also revealed he recently had a conversation with Slim 400 that he should get out of the rap game and start doing stand-up comedy sketches.
“I just had a conversation with that n-gga too, man,” Wack said. “I’ve been trying to get that n-gga to go do stand-up comedy for three years now. I was talking to [EMPIRE CEO] Ghazi about four days ago and he just called me saying, ‘Wack, you just called me saying Slim need to get out the streets and do stand-up comedy four days ago.’”
LAPD is worried about retaliation for the death of Slim 400 — born Vincent Cohran — and they are ramping up the number of officers on patrol for this weekend. One detective even warned tourists to be wary of visiting since he doesn’t think police “can keep you safe” right now.
