Polo G’s ‘Rapstar’ Success Allows Him To Cop Grandma Brand New House
Polo G is making sure he’s holding down those that took care of him before the fame. After buying a mansion for his mother earlier in 2021, he’s now taken care of his grandmother as well by purchasing her a brand new house.
The Chicago native took to social media on Friday (September 10) to celebrate his latest feat as he closed on a third property.
“I finally just closed on buyin my granny a house when I was a lil boy I used to tell ha I was gone get rich & make it happen when I grow up…I used to think I was gone do it from hoopin or sum Who woulda thought bad ass Lil man man was gone b a rapper lol….this shit hit different tho,” he wrote.
The accompanying clips find Polo’s grandma dancing around her new house and he shared a text message conversation between the two where she remembered her grandson guaranteeing he’d buy her a house when he was just a middle schooler.
“This right here made me cry all mf night,” Polo’s mother, Stacia Mac, commented on the post.

Stacia Mac recently had to fend off armed intruders at her Atlanta home and fired off a few rounds of shots to scare them away. The entire family was safe and sound from the potential attack, which saw intruders break down her basement door.
Polo G is currently riding high off the success of his Hall of Fame album, which spawned him his first No. 1 album atop the Billboard 200 by beating out the Migos’ Culture III for the top spot while also earning his first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit with “RAPSTAR” this year.
