Los Bukis Capture 23rd Top 10 on Regional Mexican Albums Chart With ‘La Más Completa Colección’

With La Colección arriving at No. 2, Los Bukis earn their 23rd top 10 and tie with Grupo Bryndis. Here’s a recap of the bands with the most top 10s on Regional Mexican Albums:

41, Los Tigres del Norte
33, Los Temerarios
31, Los Tucanes de Tijuana
27, Conjunto Primavera
26, Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga
24, Bronco: El Gigante de América
23, Grupo Bryndis
23, Los Bukis

The 40-title set includes hits spanning four decades of Los Bukis’ career, three of which ruled the Hot Latin Songs chart: “Y Ahora Te Vas” (one week in 1988), “Como Fui a Enamorarme De Ti” (five weeks at No. 1 in 1989) and “Mi Mayor Necesidad” (four weeks in 1992).

The six-member ensemble’s latest release also prompts a Top Latin Albums comeback. As Colección bows at No. 11 on the all-Latin genre chart, it marks the group’s first chart visit since 20 Kilates Románticos in 2015.

Colección concurrently becomes Los Bukis’ highest debut there since Íconos launched at No. 8 in 2012.
