Kanye West Commits To 30-Day Cleanse From ‘Alcohol, Adult Films & Intercourse’
Kanye West has revealed that he plans to step away from the limelight for the next month.
On Thursday (November 3), Yeezy hopped on Twitter to explain his 30-day “verbal fast” journey he’s set to embark on for the rest of November.
“I’m taking a 30-day cleanse A verbal fast No alcohol No adult films No intercourse In God we praise Amen,” he wrote in a note before clarifying that his “Twitter still lit though.”

While he won’t be doing any public speaking, Ye is definitely back on Twitter as he continued to throw his support behind embattled Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving, who has also faced backlash for alleged anti-Semitism.
Yeezy quoted Bible verse John 19:19 attached to a clip of Irving’s press conference before adding: “You can’t be anti-Semite when you know you are Semite.”
Kanye West previously supported Kyrie Irving on Instagram last week by claiming he was one of the last “real ones” amid a posting spree that resulted in him being suspended from the platform yet again.
Like Kanye, Kyrie Irving has recently come under fire for alleged anti-Semitism after he tweeted a link to a controversial film called Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America.
After initially refusing to back down, Irving, along with the Brooklyn Nets organization, announced on Wednesday (November 2) that they will each donate $500,000 to “causes and organizations that work to eradicate hate and intolerance in our communities.”
Kanye West then posted a text exchange with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak explaining that he won’t be caving to public pressure even after several companies have severed ties with the Chicago native including adidas, who terminated their lucrative Yeezy partnership on October 25. Ye’s net worth subsequently plummeted from $1.9 billion to a reported $400 million.
“What should be obvious by now is that I was raised to stand for my truth regardless of the consequences So I will say this again I was mentally misdiagnosed and nearly drugged out of my mind to make me a manageable well behaved celebrity,” he wrote.
